Flight Schedule Pro is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant ready to make a difference every day.  FSP provides powerful software solutions for aircraft operators that allow them to focus on what they love to do… fly!


The Senior Accountant is a highly valued member working directly for the Controller and playing a central role in the day-to-day accounting operations. You will be involved in the monthly close and reporting process including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and detailed accounting analysis. This role will be responsible for a wide variety of key accounting activities including intercompany reporting, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations among other tasks.

Some of what you’ll do:


  • Take ownership of the accuracy and completeness of day-to-day accounting and month- end close tasks for all entities
  • Prepare bank and general ledger account reconciliations
  • Review and analyze general ledger transactions and accounts, using technical judgment to ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded
  • Preparing financial analyses and reports
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
  • Update accounting processes and procedures while making best use of automation tools
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization within the functional area
  • Assist auditors in the timely resolution of audit requests and questions
  • Perform other related duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities


About you:


  • 3+ years related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
  • CPA a plus
  • Experience using NetSuite or Sage Intacct a plus
  • Strong excel skills
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • SaaS experience preferred
  • Willingness to continue to learn, adapt, mentor, and be mentored
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for doing work with excellence
  • Have high standards and a strong work ethic with a positive attitude
  • Must be action oriented and focused on getting the job done
