Flight Schedule Pro is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer ready to make a difference every day.  FSP provides powerful software solutions for aircraft operators that allow them to focus on what they love to do… fly!


Our ideal candidate will have existing security experience or willingness to move into a DevSecOps role. You will be able to take ownership of our cloud architecture, application deployment, performance and monitoring, and security of our cloud operations.

Some of what you’ll do:


  • Gain a solid understanding of our solutions and the value we provide our customers
  • Work with various stakeholders to create a cloud environment that is secure, efficient, and that provides optimal value to our customers
  • Ensure that various aspects of security practices are maintained and kept up to date
  • Stay abreast of new technology and best practices to be a valued contributor to the software development process.
  • Work dependably and consistently to achieve deadlines and hit release dates
  • Maintain and improve current knowledge on the latest technologies relevant to the role
  • Work with VP of Engineering to ensure compliance goals are being met 


About you:


  • Minimum of 3 years cloud DevOps experience (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Minimum 1 year experience with MS Azure Cloud
  • Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience with cloud security, cost management, and architecture
  • Willingness to continue to learn, adapt, mentor, and be mentored
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for doing work with excellence
  • Have high standards and a strong work ethic with a positive attitude
  • Must be action oriented and focused on getting the job done
  • Plays well with others


Nice to have, but not required:

 

  • Pilot or aviation experience
  • C# or Angular coding experience
  • Octopus Deploy experience
